Ofloled 50mg Syrup is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also a part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen.
Give the medicine as soon as you remember unless your child's doctor has advised a specific regime for your child. Do not double the dose to catch up. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Ofloled 50mg Syrup.
Ofloled 50mg Syrup is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. This hampers the multiplication of the bacteria and affects its survival, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.

Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, tremors, severe headache, sudden weakness, unconsciousness, and palpitations (irregular heartbeat). Seek medical attention right away if you notice any of these symptoms.
If your child is not responding to Ofloled 50mg Syrup, it may mean that the medicine is not effective against the underlying infection.
