Oflokem 50mg/5ml Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen.

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Oflokem 50mg/5ml Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.

Oflokem 50mg/5ml Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. These defects hamper the multiplication of the bacteria and affect its survival as well, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.
