It is also a part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen. The medicine is available in suspension form and is effective against a variety of bacterial infections.
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
Oflobact 50mg/5ml Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. This hampers the multiplication of the bacteria and affects its survival, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.

Consult a healthcare professional right away if you notice any of these symptoms.
If your child doesn't improve with Oflobact 50mg/5ml Suspension, it might not be able to fight the infection-causing bacteria. In this case, consult a doctor who may prescribe a different antibiotic that is more effective. Antibiotics generally don't interfere with vaccines or cause adverse reactions in children who have recently been vaccinated. However, it is important to note that children receiving antibiotics should not be immunized until their illness is resolved. Once your child feels better, the vaccine can be administered.
Notify your doctor if your child has a history of heart disease, genetic disorders affecting blood vessels, seizures, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, photoallergy (sunlight allergy), neuromuscular disorders, or rheumatoid arthritis. These conditions may be aggravated by Oflobact 50mg/5ml Suspension and lead to complications.
