Introduction

Ofel 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye/ear infections. It relieves the symptoms of the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms. It is for external use only and should be used as advised by your doctor.

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Ofel 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops is an antibiotic. It treats bacterial eye/ear infections by preventing the bacteria from dividing and repairing. It does so stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase.

You have been prescribed Ofel 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye/ear. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not touch the tip to any surface to avoid contamination. Continue using the medicine for 48 hours after your symptoms have cleared up. Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven't started to improve within two days of starting treatment If using Ofel 0.3% Eye/Ear Drops for eye: Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
