ODS 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It is used in the treatment of infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin, and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). It works by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time of the day. Avoid taking antacids containing aluminum or magnesium within 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take this medicine as this reduces the efficacy of this medicine. You should not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. ODS 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
