Introduction

Nykron 300mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Netupitant and Palonosetron. It works by blocking the release of chemicals (serotonin and substance P) which cause nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. If you experience any allergic reactions such as skin rash, swelling, and itching, stop the medicine and please consult your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nykron 300mg/0.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take Nykron 300mg/0.5mg Tablet with or without food approximately 1 hour prior to the start of chemotherapy or as advised by your doctor Drink fluids throughout the day like water and juices Eat small amounts of food throughout the day Avoid heavy, high fat, and greasy meals right before chemotherapy Take Nykron 300mg/0.5mg Tablet only to prevent feeling sick after chemotherapy as instructed by your doctor and should not be taken on a regularly scheduled basis
