Frequently asked questions
What is Nurosler 1500mcg Injection?
Nurosler 1500mcg Injection contains vitamin B12, an essential nutrient required by the body for red blood cell formation and a healthy nervous system. It also plays a role in energy release and utilizing vitamin B11 (folic acid). Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products, but individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may need supplementation to ensure adequate intake.
Why can't I get sufficient vitamin B12 through my diet?
Vegetarians and vegans may experience difficulty obtaining enough vitamin B12 from food sources. This is because vitamin B12 is not naturally found in fruits, vegetables, and grains, making supplementation important for these groups.
What happens if I have a deficiency of vitamin B12?
A lack of vitamin B12 can lead to fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal condition where red blood cells are larger than normal). Other potential signs include nerve problems like numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. Additionally, it may result in symptoms such as balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and sore mouth or tongue.
Is Nurosler 1500mcg Injection safe?
Generally, Nurosler 1500mcg Injection is well-tolerated with a low risk of side effects. However, in rare instances, some individuals might experience nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or skin rash. Discontinue using this medication immediately if any unusual reactions occur.
How should Nurosler 1500mcg Injection be administered?
Nurosler 1500mcg Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The standard dosage is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Nurosler 1500mcg Injection), typically administered three times per week. After two months, administration will switch to once every one to three months as part of ongoing maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken when administering Nurosler 1500mcg Injection?
When administering Nurosler 1500mcg Injection, avoid injecting it at the same site repeatedly. If pain is severe or blood flow appears back into the syringe, remove the needle and inject at a different location.
