The medication works by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain, thereby controlling seizures. While it is beneficial for these conditions, it may cause side effects such as dizziness and sleepiness. It is important to take this medication as prescribed and not to stop it suddenly without consulting a doctor, as this may increase seizure frequency. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use this medication with caution and under medical supervision due to potential risks to the baby.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Nuromat 25 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

This can reduce the risk of kidney stones. Monitor your weight during treatment with this medicine as it can cause weight gain. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the seizure frequency.
