What is Nurolone 1500mcg Injection?
Nurolone 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient necessary for the body to make red blood cells and maintain a healthy nervous system. It also plays a role in releasing energy from food and utilizing vitamin B11 (folate).
Why can't I get sufficient vitamin B12 in my diet?
Dietary sources of vitamin B12 include meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. People who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may be at risk for deficiency because vitamin B12 is not naturally found in fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, individuals following these diets may experience Vitamin B12 deficiency.
What happens if I have a vitamin B12 deficiency?
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (a condition where red blood cells become abnormally large). It may also cause nerve problems like numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. Other symptoms may include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, memory impairment, and soreness of the mouth or tongue.
Is Nurolone 1500mcg Injection safe?
Nurolone 1500mcg Injection is generally well tolerated and considered safe. However, in some rare cases, side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash may occur. If a rash appears, discontinue use of the medicine immediately.

Nurolone 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is one ampoule (containing 0.5 mg of Nurolone 1500mcg Injection), given three times a week. After two months, the dose is adjusted to one ampoule (0.5 mg of Nurolone 1500mcg Injection) every one to three months for maintenance therapy.

Avoid injecting the medication at the same site each time. If pain is intense or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-inject at a different location.
