Nurolix 1500 Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

People who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may be at risk for vitamin B12 deficiency, as this essential nutrient is primarily found in animal-based foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause a range of symptoms including fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, megaloblastic anemia, nerve problems (such as numbness and tingling in the hands and feet), balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and soreness of the mouth or tongue.
Nurolix 1500 Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, in rare cases, side effects may occur such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, and rash. If a rash occurs, discontinue use immediately.
Nurolix 1500 Injection can be given intravenously or intramuscularly. The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg) given three times a week for the first two months, and then 1 ampoule every one to three months as maintenance therapy.
When injecting Nurolix 1500 Injection, avoid using the same site each time. If intense pain occurs or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
