Nubal 15 Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
Nubal 15 Injection contains vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient required for producing red blood cells and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also plays a role in releasing energy from food and using vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. Vegetarians or vegans who don’t consume these foods may not get enough vitamin B12. It's crucial for those following plant-based diets to supplement with a vitamin B12 source.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (large and unhealthy red blood cells). It can also cause nerve problems such as numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Other symptoms include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and sores inside the mouth or tongue.
Nubal 15 Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, some people may experience rare side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or skin rash. Discontinue the medicine if you develop a rash.
Nubal 15 Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Nubal 15 Injection) and is given 3 times a week, followed by maintenance therapy with 1 ampoule every one to three months.
Alternate injection sites. If there's intense pain while injecting or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and try again at a different site.
