Frequently asked questions
Can other medicines be given at the same time as Noxclav Dry Syrup?
While Noxclav Dry Syrup can sometimes interact with other medications, it is important to consult with your child's doctor before starting any new medications. This will help ensure there are no negative interactions or potential complications.
Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Noxclav Dry Syrup?
Antibiotics generally do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction. However, it is recommended to avoid administering vaccinations until your child has recovered from any illness they may have before starting the medication.
Which lab tests may my child undergo while taking Noxclav Dry Syrup on a long-term basis?
Periodically, a doctor might order kidney and liver function tests to monitor your child's overall health and condition during prolonged therapy with Noxclav Dry Syrup.
Can I give a higher than the recommended dose of Noxclav Dry Syrup to my child?
Giving a higher dose of this medicine can increase the likelihood of side effects. If your child experiences increased symptom severity, please contact their doctor for a re-evaluation.
Can I stop giving Noxclav Dry Syrup to my child when the symptoms are relieved?
No, do not discontinue this medication unless the entire treatment course is complete. Even if you feel better, the symptoms may improve before the infection is fully cured.

The mucus coming out of my child’s nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?
Yellow or green mucus in the nose does not necessarily indicate a bacterial infection. During a common cold, mucus may thicken and change color to yellow or green. The typical duration for symptoms is 7-10 days.
Is there any sign which shows that my child needs immediate medical attention?
You should immediately contact your child's doctor if they experience serious allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, skin rashes), gastrointestinal issues (diarrhea), or liver damage (weakness, paleness, vomiting). While these side effects are rare, prompt medical attention is crucial.
