Introduction

Before you start taking Novoroid 100 Tablet, your doctor will do a blood test to determine the appropriate dose. Regular blood tests will be conducted to monitor its effectiveness, and the dose may be adjusted accordingly. It is best taken on an empty stomach before your first meal of the day. Consistent use is necessary to gain maximum benefit, and it may take several weeks for symptoms to improve. Common side effects include palpitations, vomiting, anxiety, diarrhea, weight loss, tremors, increased appetite, and restlessness, which usually subside once the correct dose is established. If severe side effects occur, such as a very high temperature, fast or irregular heart rate, low blood pressure, jaundice, confusion, or seizures, contact your doctor immediately. Novoroid 100 Tablet should not be used for weight loss or obesity treatment. If you become pregnant while taking this medicine, inform your doctor as the dose may need adjustment. Consult your doctor if you are taking other medications as they may affect how this medicine works.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Novoroid 100 Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach.

Novoroid 100 Tablet is a synthetic version of a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It works by replacing the thyroid hormones that your thyroid gland cannot produce in sufficient quantity, thereby relieving symptoms of hypothyroidism such as tiredness, weight gain, and depression.

Novoroid 100 Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning. Avoid food, milk, or tea for 1 hour before and 2 hours after taking this medicine. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see the full effect. For most people, Novoroid 100 Tablet is a lifelong medication. Do not discontinue it without consulting your doctor. Inform your doctor if you experience diarrhea, nervousness, irritability, sleep disturbances, shaking hands, or chest pain. Your dose may need adjustment. Leave a gap of at least 4 hours before taking any antacids, calcium or iron supplements, and multivitamins as these may interfere with the medicine's effect. Get your hormone levels checked regularly and inform your doctor if you notice significant changes in your body weight. The dose may need adjustment. Inform your doctor before changing the brand of Novoroid 100 Tablet as all brands may not have the same effect.
