Introduction

Norfam 20mg Tablet is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist that works by reducing the acid produced in the stomach, relieving acid-related indigestion and heartburn. It is commonly prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and heartburn caused due to the use of painkillers. It must be swallowed whole with water before or after a meal, and taken in the dose and duration advised by the doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Norfam 20mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Take other medications to treat acidity 2 hours before or after taking Norfam 20mg Tablet. Avoid taking soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Norfam 20mg Tablet for 2 weeks.
