Nexito 5 Tablet is widely prescribed to treat depression and other mental health conditions like anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is a type of antidepressant known as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nexito 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Nexito 5 Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
Take it in the morning since it can keep you awake if taken late at night. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. It has a lower chance of causing sexual dysfunction than other similar medications. The addiction or dependence potential of Nexito 5 Tablet is very less. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor first. Some people can develop dizziness or drowsiness after taking this medicine. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. It can take 2-3 weeks for Nexito 5 Tablet to start working. Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause upset stomach, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance. If your doctor asks you to stop Nexito 5 Tablet, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Nexito 5 Tablet, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of Nexito 5 Tablet is very less.
Usually, it will take about 2-4 weeks before you start feeling better, however, full benefits may take a little longer. Therefore, do not stop taking Nexito 5 Tablet without consulting your doctor. Talk to your doctor if taking the medicine does not make you feel better or you feel worse even after taking the medicine.
The most common side effects of Nexito 5 Tablet are headache and nausea. Other common side effects include blocked or runny nose, decreased or increased appetite, anxiety, restlessness, and abnormal dreams. You may also experience sleepiness or difficulty falling asleep, dizziness, yawning, tremors, diarrhea, or constipation. Other side effects of Nexito 5 Tablet may be vomiting, dry mouth, increased sweating, fatigue, fever, increase in weight, and pain in muscles and joints. Using this medicine may even cause delayed ejaculation, problems in erection, decreased sexual drive and women may experience difficulty in achieving orgasm.
Nexito 5 Tablet is used to treat depression and anxiety disorders such as social phobia, anxiety disorder, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The use of Nexito 5 Tablet in children, adolescents, and young adults may increase their risk of experiencing suicidal tendencies. You should always discuss the risks and benefits of taking Nexito 5 Tablet with your doctor before taking it. Remember that children younger than 12 years of age should not be given Nexito 5 Tablet.
