Oral Suspension
Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine used primarily in children to treat various bacterial infections affecting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It is also part of the treatment regimen for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). The medicine works by interfering with the genetic material of bacteria, preventing their multiplication and survival. It is crucial to complete the entire course of antibiotics to avoid bacterial resistance and recurrence of infection. Consult a healthcare professional for any concerns or side effects.
Administer Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension as prescribed by the doctor. Ensure your child completes the entire course of antibiotics. Avoid giving calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamins, or antacids within 2 hours of taking this medicine.
Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. These defects hamper bacterial multiplication and survival, effectively killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Discontinue Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing. Only give Nex O 100mg Oral Suspension to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
