Neurozide P Capsule is a medication used to treat neuropathic pain, which is pain caused by nerve damage. It works by controlling calcium channel activity and decreasing the production of a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. The medication is a combination of five ingredients: Alpha Lipoic Acid, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, Pregabalin, and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). While it is effective in treating nerve pain, it may cause side effects such as sleepiness. It is important to avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it can cause excessive drowsiness. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid that has a protective effect on the brain and nerve tissues. Folic Acid provides essential nutrients to the nerves. Methylcobalamin and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) are forms of vitamin B that help in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand that decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain.

Neurozide P Capsule helps treat nerve pain caused by diabetes, shingles, or an injury. Its side effects are usually mild and go away by themselves. It may cause sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
