Frequently asked questions
What is Neurotin-M Tablet?
Neurotin-M Tablet contains two active ingredients: Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. This medication is used to treat nerve damage-related pain (peripheral neuropathy). It works by regenerating damaged nerves and reducing pain signals.
What is peripheral neuropathy?
Peripheral nerves, located outside the brain and spinal cord, are responsible for transmitting messages between your brain/spinal cord and body. Peripheral neuropathy occurs when these nerves sustain damage, interrupting communication between them. This can result in pain and other symptoms related to that damaged area.
Can I stop taking Neurotin-M Tablet if my pain is relieved?
No, continue taking Neurotin-M Tablet for the entire prescribed duration. Symptoms may improve before nerve regeneration and healing fully complete.
Can Neurotin-M Tablet cause sleepiness?
Yes, drowsiness is a common side effect of Neurotin-M Tablet. Never drive or operate machinery without full alertness, and avoid consuming alcohol while taking the medication as it can increase sleepiness and risk of falls or accidents.

Taking more than the recommended dose may lead to increased side effects and potential toxicity. If you experience symptom worsening that isn't relieved by the prescribed dosage, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
