Neurofast 2500mcg/ml Injection contains vitamin B12, an essential nutrient for the body. Vitamin B12 plays a crucial role in red blood cell formation and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also helps release energy from food and utilizes vitamin B11 (folate).
Vitamin B12 is naturally found in foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. However, individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may experience difficulty obtaining adequate vitamin B12 from plant-based sources. Therefore, deficiency of Vitamin B12 is often observed in individuals following a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to symptoms such as fatigue and weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (abnormally large red blood cells). It may also cause nerve problems like numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Other potential symptoms include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, memory impairment, and sore mouth or tongue.
Neurofast 2500mcg/ml Injection is generally well tolerated. However, some individuals may experience mild side effects like nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash. Discontinue the medication immediately if a rash occurs.
