Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

To avoid potential issues, do not reuse the same injection site, and if intense pain or backflow of blood occurs during administration, remove the needle and reinsert at a different location.
