Introduction

Nestle Health Science Optifast Shake is a meal replacement diet designed for weight management. It contains 25 vitamins and minerals, and a unique fibre blend of partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) to help manage hunger pangs. Its nutritional profile has a Low Glycemic Index (GI) making it safe for individuals with diabetes.

Measure 230ml of pre-boiled water (room temperature) and pour it into a clean container. Take 6 levelled scoops (approx.50g) of Optifast powder. Use only the enclosed scoop. Gradually add the powder to the water and stir briskly until the powder has completely dissolved. The total feed volume would be approx. 279ml.

The unique fibre blend of partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) helps to manage hunger pangs and provides satiety, while the Low Glycemic Index (GI) makes it safe for individuals with diabetes.
