Frequently asked questions
What is Nervoglad 2500 Injection?
Nervoglad 2500 Injection contains vitamin B12, an essential nutrient for red blood cell production and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also aids in energy release from food and utilization of vitamin B11 (folate).
Why might I not be getting sufficient Vitamin B12 through my diet?
Vitamin B12 is found in various food sources like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. However, vegetarians and vegans may need to supplement their diets with vitamin B12 as it's not naturally present in plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains. Hence, a deficiency in Vitamin B12 is commonly observed in these groups.
What happens if I have a deficiency of Vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to various symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormally large number of red blood cells). Nerve problems like numbness or tingling in the hands and feet may also occur. Other potential signs include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, mouth soreness, and tongue sores.
Is Nervoglad 2500 Injection safe to use?
Nervoglad 2500 Injection is generally well-tolerated. However, in rare cases, possible side effects include nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, and rash. If you experience any rash while taking the injection, discontinue its usage immediately.
