Nervidale 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 plays a vital role in the production of red blood cells and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It is also essential for energy release from food and using vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Vitamin B12 is obtained naturally from animal sources like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may not get adequate Vitamin B12 as it is not naturally present in plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, vitamin B12 deficiency is more commonly observed in vegetarians or vegans.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal development of red blood cells). Nerve issues like tingling and numbness in the hands and feet, balance problems, depression, confusion, dementia, memory impairment, sore mouth or tongue may also occur.
Nervidale 1500mcg Injection is generally well tolerated and considered safe. However, some individuals may experience rare side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash. Discontinue the use of this medicine immediately if a rash develops.
Nervidale 1500mcg Injection can be administered via an intravenous or intramuscular injection. The usual dose is one ampoule (0.5 mg of Nervidale 1500mcg Injection) and is given three times a week. Following the initial two-month regimen, a dosage of one ampoule (0.5 mg of Nervidale 1500mcg Injection) can be administered every one to three months for ongoing maintenance therapy.
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site each time. If you experience severe pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert it at a different location.
