How it works
Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. Gabapentin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

What is Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet?
Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet contains Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. This medication is used to treat pain caused by nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy). It works by regenerating damaged nerves in the body, reducing pain sensations.
What is peripheral neuropathy?
Peripheral nerves are located outside your brain and spinal cord. Damage to these nerves, also known as peripheral neuropathy, can occur in toes or fingertips. This disrupts nerve communication between the central nervous system and the rest of your body. These nerves carry messages from the brain and spine to other parts of the body.
Can I stop taking Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet when my pain is relieved?
No, continue taking Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet for the full prescribed duration. It may take some time before your nerves regenerate and heal completely.
Can using Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet cause drowsiness?
Drowsiness is a common side effect of Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet. Do not drive, operate heavy machinery or engage in activities that require your full attention while taking this medication. Do not drink alcohol while using this medication as it can intensify drowsiness and lead to falls.
Can I take a higher dose of Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet than the recommended amount?
No, exceeding the prescribed dosage of Nervgab-G 300mg/500mcg Tablet can increase the likelihood of side effects and potential toxicity. If you are experiencing increased pain levels not adequately controlled by the recommended dose, consult your doctor to re-evaluate your treatment.
