Frequently asked questions
What is Nerfit Injection?
Nerfit Injection contains Vitamin B12. This essential nutrient plays a vital role in red blood cell production, maintaining a healthy nervous system, and releasing energy from food. It also works with vitamin B11 (folic acid) for optimal functioning.
Why can't I get enough vitamin B12 through my diet?
Vitamin B12 is mainly obtained from animal-based products such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. Vegans or vegetarians may not consume sufficient vitamin B12 as it isn't naturally present in plant foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, deficiency of Vitamin B12 is more common in these groups.
What happens if I have a vitamin B12 deficiency?
A deficiency in Vitamin B12 can lead to fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an enlarged red blood cell condition). It can also result in nerve problems such as numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. Other symptoms might include balance issues, depression, confusion, memory impairment, sore mouth or tongue.
Is Nerfit Injection safe?
Nerfit Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe for most individuals. However, some people may experience rare side effects like nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or rash. If a rash occurs, stop using the medicine immediately.
How should Nerfit Injection be administered?
Nerfit Injection can be administered either intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Nerfit Injection), and it is typically given 3 times per week. After two months, individuals may receive 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Nerfit Injection) every one to three months for maintenance therapy.
What precautions should I take when administering Nerfit Injection?
Always inject Nerfit Injection at different sites on your body to avoid recurring pain or bleeding at the same spot. If intense pain occurs while injecting, remove the needle and re-insert it in a new location.
