It is administered under the supervision of a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Common side effects include headache, vomiting, and nausea. It is generally safe to use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and in patients with liver and kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you are on any medications or have any known allergies before the procedure. Avoid consuming alcohol and refrain from driving or operating machinery as the medicine may cause sleepiness and impair your ability to think or react.
