Oral Suspension
Nenmox CV Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is capable of killing bacteria that have become resistant to other therapies and thus also helps treat tuberculosis that is resistant to other treatments. You can give Nenmox CV Oral Suspension to your child with or without food. It is better to give it with food as that helps increase absorption and decrease the risk of stomach upset. The doctor may prescribe giving it two to three times a day. Medicine dose depends on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. So, stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed. If your child vomits the medicine within 30 minutes of intake, let the child calm down and repeat the dose. Do not double dose if it's the time for the next dose.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Nenmox CV Oral Suspension is to be taken with food.

Nenmox CV Oral Suspension is an antibiotic. It has two active agents, amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) essential for the survival of the bacteria. Whereas, clavulanic acid serves a special purpose of inhibiting an enzyme (beta-lactamase) that is produced by resistant bacteria. This makes the combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid an effective line of treatment for many types of infections.
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Never give Nenmox CV Oral Suspension until and unless prescribed by the doctor. Do not give Nenmox CV Oral Suspension to treat common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses. Never save medicine for future illnesses. Check 'expiry' before giving Nenmox CV Oral Suspension to your child. Immediately discard all the expired medicines. Stop Nenmox CV Oral Suspension immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty.
Nenmox CV Oral Suspension may interact with other medications or substances. It is essential to inform your child's doctor about any other medication they are taking before starting this medication. Additionally, consult a healthcare professional for guidance on administering medicine to your child.
Antibiotics typically do not interfere with vaccines or cause adverse reactions in children who have recently received one. However, it is generally advised to hold off on vaccinations until the child recovers fully from their illness before administering any further treatment.
For extended therapy, regular monitoring of kidney and liver function is recommended by your doctor to assess the patient's condition. This assessment will provide valuable insights into the medication's impact.
Giving a dose exceeding the prescribed dosage of this medicine can increase the risk of side effects. If your child experiences worsening symptoms, consult their doctor for an appropriate re-evaluation.
No, do not discontinue this medication until the full course of treatment is completed, even if you perceive improvement. It's crucial to complete the prescribed dosage as the medicine might still provide beneficial effects.
Yes, Nenmox CV Oral Suspension may trigger diarrhea. This is because it's an antibiotic that kills harmful bacteria. Additionally, this medication can affect the healthy bacteria in your child's stomach, leading to diarrhea. If your child experiences diarrhea, encourage them to drink plenty of water or other fluids. Consult a healthcare professional if the diarrhea persists and you notice any signs of dehydration such as infrequent urination with dark-colored and strong-smelling urine. Avoid administering any additional medications without consulting a medical professional.
While most viral infections do not necessarily lead to bacterial infection, antibiotics should be used judiciously and only after consultation with a healthcare professional as per the specific situation.
Yellow or green mucus in the nose is not always an indication of a bacterial infection, particularly during a common cold. During this phase, nasal mucus often thickens and changes color from clear to yellow or green. However, symptoms typically last for seven to ten days.
If your child experiences serious allergic reactions (breathing difficulties, skin rashes), gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea), or liver damage (weakness, paleness, vomiting), it's essential to seek immediate medical assistance. While rare, these side effects warrant prompt expert intervention.
