Frequently asked questions

Can I use Nazorb-P Nasal Drops continuously for more than 2 weeks if my child has occasional nasal congestion?

Do not administer Nazorb-P Nasal Drops to your child for longer than 10 consecutive days. This may lead to complications such as "atrophic rhinitis". It is also important to avoid abruptly stopping the medicine, as this could cause rebound congestion in your child.

What should I do if my child accidentally takes too much of Nazorb-P Nasal Drops?

An overdose of Nazorb-P Nasal Drops can lead to severe dizziness, perspiration, a significantly lowered body temperature, headache, bradycardia (slow heart rate), hypertension (high blood pressure), respiratory depression (difficulty breathing), coma, and convulsions. High blood pressure may be followed by hypotension (low blood pressure). Children are more sensitive to toxicity than adults, so it is imperative that you contact your child's doctor immediately if this occurs.

How should I apply Nazorb-P Nasal Drops to my child?

Before using Nazorb-P Nasal Drops, ask your child to clear their nose by blowing gently. Have your child lie down and look up. Tilt your child's head back as far as possible, or if lying on a bed, keep the head over the side. Open the cap of the medicine container and without touching the nozzle to the nose, apply the drops into each nostril. Ensure your child keeps their head tilted back for a short period to allow the drops to spread throughout the nose. Replace the cap immediately after use. If the drop completely misses the nose, administer the drop again. If any part of the drop gets into the nose, do not administer the drop again.

When should I call my child’s doctor right away?

Call your child's doctor immediately if they experience signs such as insomnia, dizziness, tremor, irregular heartbeat, or elevated blood pressure after using Nazorb-P Nasal Drops.

Can other medicines be given at the same time with Nazorb-P Nasal Drops?

Nazorb-P Nasal Drops may interact with other medicines or substances. It is essential to inform your doctor about any other medications your child is currently taking before starting Nazorb-P Nasal Drops. Always check with your child's doctor before giving any medicine to your child.

What is the best position for my child to sleep when he has a stuffy nose?

To help mucus drain, have your child lie on their back with a pillow. Sleeping on their side may worsen congestion in one or both nostrils.
