How it works
Natgesic MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Frequently asked questions
What is Natgesic MR Tablet?
Natgesic MR Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. These medications work together to relieve muscle pain by targeting the prostaglandins in the body which cause inflammation and pain.
Is it safe to use Natgesic MR Tablet?
Natgesic MR Tablet is generally safe for most patients. However, some people may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, or drowsiness. If you experience persistent side effects, talk to your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Natgesic MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?
You should continue taking Natgesic MR Tablet as prescribed by your doctor until the full duration of the treatment. However, you can discontinue it for short-term pain relief.
Can the use of Natgesic MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, some patients experience nausea while using Natgesic MR Tablet. Take this medicine with milk, food, or antacids if you feel nauseous. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods alongside this medication. If experiencing vomiting, drink plenty of fluids in small sips. Consult your doctor if vomiting persists and notice signs of dehydration (dark-colored urine, low urination frequency).
