Frequently asked questions

Does Natam Eye Drop cause cancer?

Natam Eye Drop has not been shown to cause cancer in any clinical studies or animal testing. There is no evidence suggesting a link between the use of Natam Eye Drop and an increased risk of developing cancer.

Where does Natam Eye Drop come from?

Natam Eye Drop is an antibiotic that is derived from Streptomyces natalensis, a soil bacterium known for producing various bioactive compounds.

How does Natam Eye Drop work?

Natam Eye Drop belongs to the class of tetraene polyene antibiotics. This type of antibiotic works by binding to fungal cell membranes and altering their permeability, leading to the depletion of cellular contents. This ultimately reduces fungal growth and proliferation.

Why doesn't Natam Eye Drop affect bacteria?

The mechanism of action of Natam Eye Drop is specific to fungi. Bacteria have different cell wall structures than fungi, lacking the sterol moiety that Natam Eye Drop targets. This difference in structure prevents bacterial cells from being affected by this antibiotic.
