Moxynak LB 500mg/125mg Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. It also prevents diarrhea which may occur as side effect of this medicine.
Take Moxynak LB 500mg/125mg Tablet with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach. Finish the prescribed course even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

Moxynak LB 500mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.
Moxynak LB 500mg/125mg Tablet is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to penicillin. It is also avoided in patients with a prior history of cholestatic jaundice or liver dysfunction associated with the medicine.
Moxynak LB 500mg/125mg Tablet can be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the prescribed dose by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal or snack to minimize the possibility of experiencing an upset stomach. Some antibiotics can cause diarrhea. If diarrhea is severe or lasts for more than 2 or 3 days, contact your doctor.
