Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels.
Tablet
Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You can take it at any time of day but try to take it at the same time each day. You should take this medicine as advised by the doctor and never stop it abruptly without consulting the doctor. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel ill but if you stop taking this medicine your condition could get worse. This may lead to your blood pressure rising up again and increase your risk of heart disease and stroke.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help. Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause you to feel lightheaded especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension). Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medication. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet lowers your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent stroke and heart attack. Eat healthy (low-sodium diet), exercise, quit smoking, limit alcohol intake, and reduce stress along with taking Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Take Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it whole (without crushing or chewing) with sufficient water. It can be taken before, during, or after meals, as food does not affect the medication's effectiveness.
You should not take Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet if you are allergic to it or have heart failure (congestive heart failure). Avoid using the medication if you experience a slow heart rate (below 50 beats per minute at rest) or suffer from an abnormal heart rhythm or changes in your heartbeat (called sick-sinus syndrome or second or third degree AV-block).
Symptoms of Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet overdose include headache, drowsiness, a drop in blood pressure, dizziness, unusual weakness, and slow heart rate. Other possible symptoms include dry mouth, being sick, feeling tired, and abdominal pain. If you experience an overdose, contact your doctor or the nearest emergency department immediately.
You can combine atenolol with Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet while informing your doctor that you are also taking atenolol. It is crucial to stop both medications simultaneously at least a few days before stopping Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet, as abrupt discontinuation could result in increased blood pressure.
Drowsiness and difficulty sleeping are common side effects of Moxodip 0.3mg Tablet. These tend to be mild and subside over time. Other potential side effects include headache, dizziness, vertigo (a spinning sensation), and feeling sleepy. If these effects persist or cause concern, please inform your doctor.
