Introduction
Moxlox 125mg/125mg Tablet is a combination antibiotic that contains two active ingredients, Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also effectively treat infections caused by resistant bacteria.
Directions for Use
Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Doing so may cause the bacteria to multiply again or become resistant. Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect.
How it works
Moxlox 125mg/125mg Tablet contains two active ingredients, Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. On the other hand, the presence of cloxacillin increases the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. By doing so, it kills the infection-causing bacteria and prevents the infection from spreading.
Quick Tips
Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Give Moxlox 125mg/125mg Tablet to your child only for their current infection. Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child's doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
