Frequently asked questions
Can other medicines be given at the same time as Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet?
Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet may interact with other medications or substances. It is important to tell your child’s doctor about all other medicines your child is taking before starting Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet. Consult your child's doctor for advice regarding giving any medicine to your child.
Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet?
Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in children who have recently been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. If your child feels better after recovering, the vaccine can be administered.
Which lab tests may my child undergo while taking Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet on a long-term basis?
With prolonged therapy, the doctor may periodically monitor kidney and liver function tests to assess your child’s condition.
Can I give a higher than the recommended dose of Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet to my child?
Giving a higher than recommended dose of this medicine may increase risks of side effects. If your child experiences increased severity of symptoms, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Can I stop giving Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet to my child when the symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop giving this medicine to your child unless the full course of treatment is complete, even if you feel better. Symptoms may improve before the infection is fully cleared. Therefore, continue giving the medication for the prescribed duration as it could still be beneficial.
Can the use of Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet cause diarrhea?
Yes, Moxking CV Kid 200mg/28.5mg Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic that kills harmful bacteria. In addition to that, the medication may affect the good bacteria in your child's stomach and cause diarrhea. If diarrhea occurs, encourage your child to drink plenty of water or other fluids. Contact your doctor if the diarrhea persists or you notice signs of dehydration, such as reduced urine frequency with dark-colored and strong-smelling urine. Do not give any other medicine to your child without consulting a healthcare professional.
Do all viral common colds result in secondary bacterial infection?
Most viral colds do not lead to secondary bacterial infections. Antibiotics should only be prescribed by a doctor after consultation, as using antibiotics when you don't need them can lead to side effects. If your child has symptoms of an infection, it is important to consult with their doctor before administering any treatment.
The mucus coming out of my child’s nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?
Yellow or green mucus in the nose does not automatically indicate a bacterial infection, especially during a common cold. During a typical cold, nasal mucus thickens and changes color to yellow or green. Symptoms often last for 7-10 days.
Is there any sign which shows that my child needs immediate medical attention?
Call your child's doctor immediately if they experience severe allergic reactions (breathing problems, skin rashes), gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea), or liver damage (weakness, paleness, vomiting). Although rare, these side effects are serious and require expert treatment.
