Introduction
Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is capable of killing bacteria that have become resistant to other therapies and thus also helps treat tuberculosis that is resistant to other treatments.
Directions for Use
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
How it works
Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup is an antibiotic. It has two active agents amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) essential for the survival of the bacteria. Whereas clavulanic acid serves a special purpose of inhibiting an enzyme (beta-lactamase) that is produced by resistant bacteria. This makes the combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid an effective line of treatment for many types of infections.
Quick Tips
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection. Frequently asked questions
Can other medications be given simultaneously with Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup?
Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup may interact with other medicines or substances. It is important to inform your child's doctor about any other medications they are taking before starting Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup. Consulting your child's doctor before administering any medication to a child is essential.
Can my child receive vaccinations while on treatment with Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup?
Antibiotics typically don't interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause adverse reactions. However, children should avoid receiving vaccinations until their illness is resolved. After recovery, the vaccine can be administered as soon as your child feels well.
What lab tests might I need to perform on my child during long-term Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup treatment?
Periodic monitoring of kidney and liver function is typically recommended for children undergoing prolonged therapy with this medication. This helps assess their health condition.
Can I give a higher dose of Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup than the prescribed amount to my child?
No, exceeding the recommended dosage of this medicine can increase the risk of side effects. If your child experiences worsened symptoms, please consult with their doctor for re-evaluation.
Can I stop giving Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup to my child once they show relief from symptoms?
No, discontinue this medication unless the full course of treatment is completed. Even if symptoms improve before complete eradication of infection, continuing the medication may still provide benefits.
Can Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup cause diarrhea in my child?
Yes, Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup can potentially lead to diarrhea. It acts by killing harmful bacteria. Moreover, the medicine might affect beneficial bacteria in your child's stomach and trigger diarrhea. In case of diarrhea, encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. If diarrhea persists or you notice signs of dehydration (such as reduced urination with dark-colored and strong-smelling urine), do not administer any other medication without consulting a doctor.
Does using Moxking CV Duo Dry Syrup always lead to bacterial infections in colds?
Bacterial infections rarely follow viral ones. In fact, antibiotics should only be used after consulting your child's doctor if they are prescribed.
My child's nose mucus is yellow-green, is it a sign of bacterial infection?
A change in mucus from clear to yellow or green during a common cold is normal. It often thickens and changes color for 7-10 days.
What are the signs that my child needs immediate medical attention?
Call your child's doctor immediately if they experience severe allergic reactions (breathing difficulties, skin rashes), gastrointestinal problems (diarrhea), or liver damage (weakness, paleness, vomiting). These side effects, while rare, can be serious and require expert intervention.
