Moxizest 400mg Infusion is given as an injection into a vein (intravenous) in cases where oral administration is not possible, such as in hospitalized or unconscious patients. It is administered by a healthcare professional. Kindly do not self-administer. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Some people may have a headache, dizziness, nausea, and diarrhea as side effects of this medicine. You may also notice some injection site reactions like pain, swelling, or redness. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own, but please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Moxizest 400mg Infusion is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the medication. It may cause short-term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines.
