Monteder AB 200mg/10mg Tablet is a combination medication used to prevent and treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles of the air passages, making it easier to breathe. Additionally, it is used to treat bronchitis. The medication contains Acebrophylline, a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus, and Montelukast, a leukotriene antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and nose. While effective, it is important to follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and usage. Consult your doctor for any concerns, especially if you have a history of kidney, liver, or heart disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Monteder AB 200mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Monteder AB 200mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Acebrophylline and Montelukast. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.

It should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Your doctor may need to take regular blood tests to monitor the level of the drug in your body to make sure that you are taking the right dose.
