Montair AB Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Acebrophylline and montelukast. It helps prevent and treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) by relaxing the muscles of the air passages and making it easier to breathe. It is also used to treat bronchitis. Montair AB Tablet SR is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out. It is also a leukotriene antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and nose to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montair AB Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take Montair AB Tablet SR exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to take Montair AB Tablet SR after meals to avoid stomach discomfort.
Taking a higher dose than recommended for Montair AB Tablet SR will not increase its effectiveness and may lead to increased side effects. If your symptoms worsen, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
You should continue taking Montair AB Tablet SR as prescribed by your doctor. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any problems or side effects while using it.
While rare, serious side effects may occur with Montair AB Tablet SR. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor immediately, such as upper respiratory tract infection, fever, headache, pharyngitis, cough, abdominal pain, diarrhea, influenza, irritability, restlessness, bad or vivid dreams, sleepwalking, depression, suicidal thoughts, disorientation (confusion), and hallucinations.
Keep this medicine in the original container, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions on the packaging or label provided. Dispose of unused medication responsibly, ensuring that it is not accessible to pets, children, or other individuals.
