Monosol Medicated Soap is a combination of two medicines: Cetrimide and Permethrin. It works by killing microrganisms that cause scabies. It is also potent in paralyzing and killing the lice and their eggs.
Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower. Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water immediately if it gets in your eyes, nose, or mouth. You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching. Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment.
