Monolosin DFT Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat kidney stones. It relaxes the bladder and reduces pain, swelling, and other symptoms of inflammation associated with kidney stones.

Introduction

Monolosin DFT Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It is best taken with food. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop. Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as runny nose, ejaculation disorders, and dizziness. If you experienced any of these side effects that do not go away or get worse, let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Monolosin DFT Tablet is to be taken with food.

Monolosin DFT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Deflazacort. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Deflazacort is a steroid medicine. It works by reducing inflammation (swelling) in the kidneys to promote the passage of the stones through urine.

Take adequate water or fluids while taking this medicine to prevent kidney stones You can also include citric acid rich food in your diet like grapefruit, oranges, lemons, or limes to prevent kidney stones Inform your doctor if you have any kidney or heart disease or high potassium levels in your blood Monolosin DFT Tablet can suppress your immune system, so it is important if you become ill that you make an appointment to see your doctor straightaway
