Introduction
Mofilet -S 360 Tablet is an immunosuppressant used to prevent rejection of a transplanted organ, such as a kidney, heart, or liver, after a transplant. It works by weakening your body's immune system, so it does not attack the transplanted organ. The amount of Mofilet -S 360 Tablet you take depends on the type of transplant you have. Follow your doctor's instructions on this. This medicine may be taken with or without food. Swallow it as a whole, do not crush, chew, break, or open them. Take the medicine regularly to get the most benefit and keep taking it even if you feel well. If you stop taking it, you may increase the chances of rejecting your transplanted organ.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mofilet -S 360 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Quick Tips
Take it with food to minimize possible side effects like nausea and stomach pain. It makes you more susceptible to getting infections. Avoid contact with people who have an infection and consult your doctor immediately if you develop a sore throat, high temperature or any other signs of infections. It may cause birth defects so birth control is required in females of reproductive age. Protect yourself from direct sunlight by wearing protective clothing and applying a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF). Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor the levels of blood cells in your blood. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as unexplained bruising or bleeding, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or fever.

Frequently asked questions
Why has my doctor prescribed Mofilet-S 360 Tablet after I've had a kidney transplant?
Mofilet-S 360 Tablet is an immunosuppressant that helps your body accept the donor kidney by suppressing the activity of immune cells. This reduces the risk of organ rejection and allows the transplanted kidney to function properly.
Can Mofilet-S 360 Tablet cause cancer?
Mofilet-S 360 Tablet may increase your risk of certain cancers, such as skin cancer and lymphoma. To minimize this risk, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, wear protective clothing, and apply sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 30. If you notice any unusual skin lesions or sores, experience unexplained fever, weight loss, or pain in the neck, groin, or armpits, contact your doctor immediately.
Is Mofilet-S 360 Tablet a steroid or chemotherapy drug? Can it cause hair loss?
Mofilet-S 360 Tablet is an immunosuppressant, not a steroid or chemotherapy medication. Hair loss is a possible side effect of Mofilet-S 360 Tablet.
Do I need any special tests while taking Mofilet-S 360 Tablet?
Your doctor will request blood tests before starting treatment to monitor your response and detect potential side effects. Regular blood tests will be necessary throughout the therapy to ensure your safety and effectiveness of the medication.
Why has my doctor advised me to avoid someone with chicken pox or shingles?
As an immunosuppressant, Mofilet-S 360 Tablet weakens your immune system. If you come into contact with someone infected with chicken pox or shingles, you may develop the illness yourself. Follow your doctor's advice and seek medical attention if you experience symptoms of chicken pox or shingles.
What precautions should a female take while taking Mofilet-S 360 Tablet?
Do not become pregnant while taking Mofilet-S 360 Tablet, as there is a high risk of miscarriage and birth defects. Use two acceptable forms of birth control together for at least four weeks before starting treatment, during therapy, and for six weeks after stopping the medication.
What precautions should a male take while taking Mofilet-S 360 Tablet?
Either the man or his partner should use reliable contraception during treatment and for 90 days after discontinuing the medication. Men should not donate semen during therapy or for 90 days following the end of treatment.
