Moclox Kid Tablet contains two active ingredients Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. On the other hand, the presence of cloxacillin increases the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. By doing so, it kills the infection-causing bacteria and prevents the infection from spreading.
Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions Give Moclox Kid Tablet to your child only for their current infection Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child’s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine

Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
In the common cold, the mucus changes its color and thickens up with time, but this does not necessarily mean that your child needs antibiotics. Common cold symptoms often last for 7-10 days. If your child's symptoms fail to clear up within this duration, consult their doctor for guidance.
No, it is not recommended to give Moclox Kid Tablet to children with infectious mononucleosis, as a high percentage of children with this condition develop a skin rash (erythematous rash) while taking Moclox Kid Tablet.
It is advised not to give Moclox Kid Tablet to children with jaundice, as the active ingredient cloxacillin can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child. Consult your child's doctor for alternative treatment options.
