Chloramphenicol Orlistat
Mnt 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
Mnt 1500mcg Injection contains vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in red blood cell production and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also helps release energy from food and utilize vitamin B11 (folate).
Vitamin B12 is obtained from animal-based foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Vegetarians or vegans may have difficulty obtaining sufficient vitamin B12 as it's not naturally found in plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, deficiency can occur primarily in these groups.
Vitamin B12 deficiency may cause symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an enlarged red blood cell condition). It can also lead to nerve problems like numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Other possible symptoms include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, dry mouth or tongue.
Mnt 1500mcg Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, in rare cases, side effects may occur such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash. If a rash occurs, discontinue using the medication immediately.
Mnt 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is 0.5 mg of Mnt 1500mcg Injection and is given three times per week. After two months, the dose changes to once every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
Avoid injecting at the same site repeatedly. If there's severe pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
