Migcalm Plus 10mg/5mg/500mg Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Migcalm Plus 10mg/5mg/500mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Migcalm Plus 10mg/5mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Domperidone, Flunarizine and Paracetamol which prevent migraine accompanied by nausea/vomiting. Domperidone is an antiemetic and prokinetic which blocks the action of a dopamine (a chemical messenger) in the brain which causes nausea and vomiting. Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker which works by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels in the head thereby preventing migraine headache. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain.
Migcalm Plus 10mg/5mg/500mg Tablet helps to ease the pain you feel during a migraine headache as well as helps to stop you from feeling sick. It can make you feel dizzy rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Migcalm Plus 10mg/5mg/500mg Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them. Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack: Have your meals at the same time every day. Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures. Avoid loud music and noisy places. Avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking. Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
