Introduction
Mictura-DS Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Silodosin and Dutasteride, that work together to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Silodosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, facilitating easier urine passage. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that helps shrink the prostate gland by reducing hormone levels that contribute to its growth. This medication is not intended to prevent prostate cancer. Common side effects may include dizziness, blurred vision, and sexual dysfunction. Always consult your doctor for personalized advice and information.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Mictura-DS Tablet should be taken with food, approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
How it works
Mictura-DS Tablet combines Silodosin and Dutasteride to relieve BPH symptoms. Silodosin relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, allowing easier urine passage. Dutasteride reduces hormone levels that help the prostate gland grow, thereby shrinking it.
