Introduction

Micronac Gel is for external use only. It should be gently applied to the affected area as per the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor. In order to get the most benefit, apply it regularly or whenever required. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. Do not apply it on open wounds or damaged skin.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Side Effects

Application site irritation and burning sensation

Micronac Gel is a combination of five medicines: Aceclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Capsaicin Based Rubefacients. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed Oil decreases swelling through its anti-inflammatory properties. Methyl Salicylate and Menthol are topical analgesics (pain relievers) that work by cooling and warming the skin. Capsaicin Based Rubefacients is also a pain reliever that desensitizes nerve endings, reducing pain.

Micronac Gel is prescribed to get relief from moderate to severe pain. Apply 2-3 times daily or as prescribed by the doctor. Remember to wash your hands after application unless this is the area being treated. Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames as Micronac Gel increases the risk of severe burns. Consult your doctor if you get excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects.
