It is used to treat deficiency of vitamin B12 in the body. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

Miconex OD 1500mcg Injection can be injected intravenously or intramuscularly. The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Miconex OD 1500mcg Injection) and it is administered three times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Miconex OD 1500mcg Injection) is given every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken when administering Miconex OD 1500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the same site repeatedly. If you experience intense pain while injecting or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
