Mext 7.5 F Combipack is a combination of Methotrexate and Folic Acid. It may be taken with or without food and should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients. The common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, hair loss, low number of blood cells (anemia) and decreases in white blood cell count.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mext 7.5 F Combipack may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Mext 7.5 F Combipack is a combination of two medicines: Methotrexate and Folic Acid. Methotrexate is an anticancer and immunosuppressive medication. It works in cancer by slowing the growth of cancer cells by blocking building blocks that cancer cells need to grow. It also works in autoimmune disease by decreasing the activity of body's immune system and prevents the body from attacking itself. Folic Acid, a form of vitamin B, is added to prevent Folic Acid deficiency caused by Methotrexate.
