It is used for heart-related chest pain (angina), abnormal heart rhythms, and chronic (long-term) heart failure. The medicine is available in tablet form and should be taken as directed by a doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Metolar AM 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
