Metolar 25mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (heart-related chest pain), and irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmia). Additionally, it helps to prevent future heart attacks and strokes, and to prevent migraines. While effective, it may cause dizziness, and it is important to monitor blood sugar levels if you are diabetic. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly as it can cause a sudden rise in blood pressure, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Metolar 25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Metolar 25mg Tablet is effective when used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. It is essential not to stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition, as this may lead to the symptoms returning or worsening.
Both Metolar 25mg Tablet and Metoprolol Succinate are effective, but they may be better suited for different conditions. Metoprolol Succinate is more effective for treating heart failure, and it may also be less likely to cause some side effects compared to Metolar 25mg Tablet.
